Researchers at Tufts Medical Center in Boston performed a systematic review and meta-analysis of the effects of tai chi on psychological well-being. Researchers at the University of Nottingham randomly assigned 20 individuals with traumatic brain injuries a one hour per week, 8 week tai chi qigong class or a non-exercise based social and leisure activity of the same duration.
