Tai Chi Improves Mood Among People with Traumatic Brain Injuries

A tai chi research study in New Zealand assigned 18 individuals with traumatic brain injuries either to a 6-week program or to a control wait list. After the 6-week tai chi program there were significant decreases in sadness, confusion, anger, tension and fear and significant increases in energy and happiness in the tai chi group.
