Welcome to Tai Chi Research

The Tai Chi Research website is a resource that consolidates research on the health benefits of doing tai chi and qigong (chi gung).

Tai Chi Research was started by Energy Arts Inc. with the aim to promote tai chi as powerful way to help the aging population stay healthy.  Hundreds of tai chi studies have been conducted by leading research and universities that have shown the proven benefits of practicing tai chi for a wide variety of ailments such as for arthritis, asthma, diabetes, and fall prevention.

The tai chi research on this site comes from a variety of sources including:

  1. Published tai chi research and tai chi studies:  These are gathered both from major US universities and also academic institutions in Asia and Europe.  Our aim is to summarize the tai chi research and put the tai chi research into categories.  Whenever possible we will post the tai chi research link so that you can track and find the original research.
  2. Tai chi instructors and tai chi teachers:  We have a network of experienced tai chi practitioners who actively teach different forms of tai chi to thousands of students.  Whenever possible we will summarize tai chi knowledge from noted authorities on tai chi, especially if this information has been published.
  3. Related tai chi news:  We scan the internet and pull only the best tai chi news and articles on tai chi.
